Short answer

  • It costs USD 500 for the first ten days, then USD 50 a day.
  • You need a licensed guide and at least two trekkers.
  • You also need ACAP for the Annapurna section.

Upper Mustang has been open to trekkers since 1992 and keeps its high fee to limit numbers. The permit runs from Kagbeni.

Most treks take 10 to 14 days from Jomsom.
